Which movie is better, Scarface or American Gangster?

Haven't seen American Gangster yet, but I'm going to say Scarface. It is a clic, and was groundbreaking for it's time. We'll see if American Gangster stands the test of time, but tough to compare brand new movies with some of the all time greats. Is it THAT good of a movie, or is it really good and we are just hyped about it because it is current and want to proclaim it as GREAT?
