my GSD is really soft towards me and loves attention but because he isnt properly house trained i have to lock him in a crate when i go out. he has never had any bad experiences in a crate as ive always had him. when i put my hand near the cage or walk past he will start barking like mad really low growls and shows his teeth and tries to bite his way out. it cant be because he feels threatened as he never used to do it only these past 2/3 weeks! does anyone have any ideas why he might be doing this? he is 11 months old.
